WaterBank® welcomes commercial partners including attorney, hydrologists, engineers, title researchers and other in our efforts to build structured water rights markets worldwide. However, because of unfortunate circumstances in working with some real estate brokers we have worked with WaterBank® reserves the right to examine the bona fides and obtain references of parties that we work with. For commercial listings of water rights, water utilities, and water sources, we pay finders fees, share commissions, or obtain overriding royalties.
We want to cooperate with title companies, hydrologists, attorneys and others who may be able to bring listings and expertise to the transactions.
Water transactions are usually simple. But, cconsiderable work is commonly necessary to:
- trace and chain property titles to ensure clean title
- evaluate hydrological impact of water-rights transfers
- conduct historical research to validate water rights
- prepare and review closing legal documents
- pursue Interpleader law suits to ensure proper distribution of funds
